Bookings / Refunds
Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received. Places on tours are allocated strictly on the basis of when payment is received. All tours require a minimum number of participants. Should tours be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will apply and a 10% discount will be offered on a tour at a later date if available and if booked within 48 hours of cancellation.

What happens when you decide not to go on a tour that has been booked and paid for? If you give 72 hour notice for extended tours or 24 hour notice for day tours, a full refund will apply. If less then this period of notice is given, no refund will be made and all payments made will be forfeited. Bookings can be transferred by you to another person at no cost but we must be advised of the name of replacement passenger. No refund is payable if a passenger is not at the departure point at the nominated departure time to participate in the tour.

Weather / Itineraries:
Whilst we endeavour to follow all advertised itineraries, all of our tours travel to remote locations often depending upon tides, beach, and weather conditions. Itineraries may change from those advertised where there are adverse conditions. All tours will depart regardless of rain unless we are aware of conditions / forecasts that would make it unwise to proceed with the tour. Full refunds are given if tours are cancelled prior to departure. Pro-rata refunds apply if tours must be abandoned after departure.

Care and Responsibility:
Goanna Adventures is a commercial tour operator who takes the care and responsibility of its passengers seriously. We carry public liability insurance for all tours and follow all applicable laws and regulations in our operations.
Goanna Adventures accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any luggage, valuables or personal items carried on tours. Goanna Adventures does not accept any responsibility for the deterioration of the health of any passenger that results in any illness, injury or death. Prior to departure, all participants on our tours are required to complete a "Release and Disclaimer form" which will be provided to you upon booking or at departure point.
